2Seo Portel Des Corbières Trail

The 2SEO Portel Des Corbières Trail begins at Terra Vinéa in Portel-des-Corbières, Aude, Occitanie. A distinctive feature is that some participants run through the Terra Vinéa mine before entering the open Corbières landscape. This trail-running event offers three timed races across Portel-des-Corbières and Sigean: 25 km, 15 km, and the 6 km Trail Portelais. The shorter race is accessible for less experienced runners but does not include the mine passage. Additionally, a Pink Walk is held, featuring standard walking and Nordic walking, supporting Octobre Rose breast cancer awareness. The longer Terra Vinea Africa route guides runners towards Peyriac-de-Mer, offering views of the Sigean ponds before entering the African Reserve of Sigean. Sun Stages Endurance and 2SEO are the organizing bodies, with Jean-Luc Scannapieco overseeing courses and safety, and Cathy Bielle managing administration and finances. The inaugural edition also commenced at Terra Vinéa, establishing the wine cellar and mine site as integral to the race’s identity from its inception. Organizers contribute one euro per participant, provide funds to Octobre Rose, and include individuals with disabilities from L’AFDAIM 11.
