Rock Reno Half Marathon, Relay & 5K

Rock Reno is Reno’s only point-to-point half marathon. Runners start at the Swift Sportsdome in South Reno and finish elsewhere in the city. The Reno Running Company event features a 13.1-mile half marathon, a 13.1-mile two-person relay, and a 3.1-mile 5K run/walk. The half marathon and relay begin in the morning, with the 5K starting shortly after. The half marathon route crosses east Reno via city streets, bike paths, and parks, offering runners more variety than a simple out-and-back course. The relay allows two participants to share the half marathon distance, with teams categorized by male and female. The 5K provides a shorter option for walkers and newer runners on the same race day, while the half marathon and relay attract those seeking the full 13.1-mile point-to-point course.
