Mo Fall begins and ends at Mohican State Park Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio, placing participants within Mohican State Park for a fall trail race. The event provides three distances: a marathon, half marathon, and 15k, each with an 8-hour time limit. The routes utilize rugged trails, gentler sections, and climbs totaling 1,217 feet for the 15k, 1,850 feet for the half marathon, and 3,757 feet for the marathon. The half marathon is a 13.1-mile loop from the lodge, passing Lyons Falls and crossing the park’s covered bridge. The trails wind under deciduous and evergreen trees, with ferns, mosses, woodland plants, and streams contributing to a dense forest atmosphere. Hikers are welcome, and leashed dogs may accompany them, broadening the field beyond runners focused on speed. Mo Fall also links to the Ohio Endurance Athlete of the Year series, where completing four qualifying events earns a trading card with personal photos and race statistics, with series awards for overall, masters, grand masters, and senior masters leaders.
