Fall Foot Races

Fall Foot Races is an autumn race series in Bend, Oregon, offering four distances: the Fall Foot Half, Bigfoot 10K, Fleet Foot 5K, and Little Foot kids run. The half marathon and 10K begin at the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center and conclude at Riverbend Park. The 5K starts and finishes at Riverbend Park. The series provides runners and walkers with options including a half marathon, a downhill 10K, a park 5K, and free kids races. The Bigfoot 10K, established in 1976, is Bend's oldest foot race. Its course descends nearly 500 feet from the west side of town toward the Old Mill area, incorporating pavement and smooth, wide trail before ending at Riverbend Park. The Fall Foot Half follows a longer point-to-point route with approximately 500 feet of elevation loss in its initial half, then transitions to flatter paths near the Deschutes River. The Bigfoot 10K supports Bend-La Pine School cross country teams, having contributed over $50,000 to local programs. The Little Foot races offer a free, short-distance option for younger children at Pine Nursery Park and Riverbend Park.
