Ekerumsloppet 2026

Ekerumsloppet is an autumn trail race held at Ekerum Resort on Öland, with the start and finish located at the resort close to Borgholm. The primary event is a 10 km race for adults, complemented by a shorter youth race of approximately 1.3 km. Högby IF athletics is the organizer, and the youth runners begin before the adult participants. The course follows forest trails around Ekerum and Rällaskogen, making it more of a cross-country run than a road race. It is included in the Kalmar Trail series and typically attracts a local participant base rather than a large city-race audience. Children aged 11 and under participate without timing, and all finishers receive a medal.
