Transcávado 2026

The Transcávado Slow Race is a mountain biking event focused on leisure and adventure, utilizing GPS navigation. It takes place over two stages on October 3rd and 4th, 2026. Stage one is approximately 70 km from Montalegre to Rio Caldo, with medium to high difficulty. Stage two is approximately 80 km from Rio Caldo to Esposende, with medium difficulty. The course consists of rural paths, trails, and unpaved forest roads, primarily following the Cávado River. It passes through several municipalities and features mountain and valley scenery. The event is open to all participants and includes GPS track provision and safety support.
