5th Triathlon of Batalha

The 5th Triathlon of Batalha is a youth road triathlon held in Batalha, Portugal, centered at the Municipal Pool of Batalha. Taking place in July, it begins with pool swimming, not open water. Competitors swim laps in a 25 m, six-lane pool before proceeding to the bike and run segments. This event is part of the Campeonato Litoral e Interior Centro Jovem, serving as the fourth scoring race for that youth championship. The transition area is located on Rua da Cerca Conventual, with the finish line at Santa Maria da Vitória Events Park. The cycling route follows asphalt roads, featuring flat stretches, some inclines, and roundabouts. The running course is a flat circuit composed of asphalt and brick dust paths. Participants are young athletes born between 2009 and 2019, and both licensed and non-licensed competitors are welcome. Awards are given for individual and team standings, with chip timing managed by Multicrono, concluding with a prize ceremony.
