Saltdalsløpet

Saltdalsløpet is a local running event in Saltdal offering 5 km and 10 km races. The reported edition saw 373 participants, a turnout that led organizer Vinger IL to request additional start numbers from Kobberløpet. The races commence near the athletics track, which was crowded with participants and onlookers. Among the top finishers in the 10 km were club runners from Bodø, Valnesfjord, Steinkjer, and the host club Vinger IL. Glenn Trane finished first for the men in 34:09, and Kine Kalstad won the women's race in 45:27. The 5 km included a wide age range, with 90-year-old Iver Bjørnstad being the fastest male finisher.
