Hoge Veluwe Loop

The Hoge Veluwe Loop begins at the event grounds within De Hoge Veluwe National Park. This running event, held on the first weekend of October, takes place on unpaved park paths. The main races include the 5.5 km Bosloop, the 12.5 km Landschappenloop, and a trail run of approximately 20 km. Children participate in the Moeffie Run, which is divided by age groups and features short distances for participants aged five to twelve. The routes guide runners through the park rather than town streets, with the day centered on forest and landscape paths. Cairn Trails & Adventures assists in organizing the trail distances, collaborating with park site managers to design the course. A portion of the entry fee serves as admission to the park, and each Moeffie Run child may bring one parent or guardian free of charge. The race is approaching its twentieth edition.
