The fast 5k route, mostly flat with a slight incline, begins and ends on Dovercourt promenade. It winds through Harwich and Cliff park, offering good potential for personal bests. The Harwich 5k series includes a timed handicap, adjusted by a secret algorithm after each race to ensure fair and fun competition.
