Cardiff Half Marathon 2026 | Maggie

The Cardiff Half Marathon begins on Castle Street in central Cardiff on an October morning, sending runners into a 13.1-mile road race through the city streets. It is Wales's largest running event, one of Europe's biggest half marathons, and part of the six-race European SuperHalfs series. The course is flat and fast, suitable for beginners attempting their first half marathon or experienced runners aiming for a quick time. Approximately 27,000 runners participate, with many running for charity. Team Maggie's runners pay a £10 registration fee, aim to raise £275, receive a Maggie's running vest, fundraising assistance, and race-day support from a cheer point. The funds raised will support people with cancer and their loved ones.
