A flat and fast 10k, 5k, or 2k race will be held in Granta Park, Cambridge. The 10k and 5k courses are officially measured by UK Athletics (UKA). A 2k Fun Run is available for families. The event is suitable for runners of all abilities, whether they aim to achieve a personal best, win a trophy, or enjoy the atmosphere. The annual event takes place in the 120-acre Granta Park, along the River Granta, and through the villages of Little and Great Abington. The event aims to raise money for Great Abington Primary School. The 10k and 5k are official UKA road race courses, measured by an official measurer. The 10k course has minimal elevation, making it ideal for runners seeking a personal best. The 10k route starts in Granta Park, goes down High Street in Great Abington, passes the recreation ground, and crosses the River Granta. After passing through Little Abington, the route goes past school playing fields before returning to Granta Park for the finish, located in front of the TWI plane. The 5k is a completely flat, 2-lap course held entirely within Granta Park, also finishing in front of the TWI plane. The 2k Fun Run is a relaxed, traffic-free race through Granta Park, suitable for all ages, buggies, and wheelchairs.
