Aberfoyle Trail Festival 2026

The Aberfoyle Trail Festival is an autumn trail-running event held in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, with races centered near Aberfoyle, Scotland. Participants can choose between a 21.4km trail half marathon and the Aberfoyle Ultra, which is offered in approximately 52km, 62km, or 63km variations. The half marathon, limited to 500 participants, is the most popular race of the weekend, while the ultra has a cap of 200 runners. The half marathon course includes 350m of elevation gain, crossing forest tracks, single-track trails, and a brief paved section near the start. Runners will encounter lochside paths, autumn woodlands, and vistas towards Ben Lomond. This event is in its third year, with this edition extending the offerings beyond the established half marathon and ultra races.
