Triathlon d'Oléron 2026

Triathlon d'Oléron takes place on an early-October weekend in Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, located on France's Île d'Oléron in Charente-Maritime. Adults can choose from several race distances: the S format includes 750 m of swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running. The M format doubles these distances to 1.5 km, 40 km, and 10 km, respectively. An XS format, relay options, a solidarity walk, and youth duathlons are also offered, ensuring the weekend accommodates various participant types. The race setting is coastal and natural, utilizing the Oléron island environment instead of an urban course. The S race is open to participants aged 16 and older, and the M race to those 18 and older. Children and juniors compete on their own dedicated courses. A charitable component is included through the walk for Octobre Rose, the French breast cancer awareness campaign. Now in its fifth edition, the event features a broad format that includes short-course triathletes, longer-course racers, relay teams, walkers, and young athletes.
