X POSIDONIA RACE 2026

The X Posidonia Race is an open-water swim off Ibiza’s Cala d’Hort beach, in San José. It features 10k and 5k categories on the same day. Both races begin in the water off the beach and finish in the same area. Wetsuits are permitted, but fins, paddles, snorkels, and other propulsion aids are not, making it a swimming race. The 10k route loops around Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell, the two rocky islands just offshore from Cala d’Hort. The 5k course is shorter, running between the start area and Es Vedranell before returning. Rankings are separated into male and female categories, with minimum ages of 15 for the 5k and 17 for the 10k. Bib collection occurs on race morning, fitting the practical, local feel of a sea swim based around one beach and a distinctive stretch of Ibiza coastline.
