Korosti Trail 2026

The Korosti Trail begins and ends in Legazpi square, Basque Country, directing runners immediately into the mountains surrounding Gorostiaga, the peak also known as Korosti. This mountain race takes place in October, offering a 13.5 km short course and a 23.4 km long course. The event is part of the Goierri Kopa trail series. The route crosses Gorostiaga, Jentiletxe, Oregi, Eskortazarreta, and Arrandaitz. The long course additionally includes Arrolamendi. The Korosti Trail group organizes the race, with assistance from Legazpi City Council. Previous winners have come from Zumarraga, Tolosa, Antzuola, and Azpeitia.
