Paderborner Osterlauf 2027

Paderborner Osterlauf is a road-running event in Paderborn, held around Easter with Sportzentrum Maspernplatz as its race hub. It is Germany's oldest road race, and its program includes the German Half Marathon Championship alongside public races. The field is large for a city race, with almost 14,000 registrations expected and a new participation record in reach. A core team of nearly 30 organizers works on it, backed by more than 400 volunteers. The Easter link is part of the event’s identity, and families get a special draw too: the “Maus” character from German children’s television visits the race area.
