3. Abend-Kanallauf Rethmar

The Abend-Kanallauf Rethmar is an evening running event held at the MTV Rethmar sports ground in Sehnde, near Hanover. It is organized by the running section of MTV Rethmar von 1900 e. V. and features a range of distances: a 400 m Bambini run, a 1.5 km school race, 5 km running and walking options, a 10 km main race, and the Kalimandscharo half marathon covering 21.1 km. The 10 km race consists of two laps of the 5 km course, and the half marathon is precisely 21.098 m. The event is designed for children, youth runners, active adults, masters, walkers, and local club runners from the Hanover region. Organizers characterize the route with a cross-country feel. The event maintains a relaxed atmosphere, aiming to “let it rock” again following the prior edition. Timing is managed by eichels GmbH. The race retains a small-event character with online registration and on-site cash registration available on the day.
