About this race
The Schwarzbuebe-Rundfahrt is a two-day road cycling event held at Turnhalle Bruggweg in Dornach, Switzerland. Starts are available on both weekend mornings between 07:00 and 10:00. This event is part of Radsporttage Dornach and is organized by VC Dornach as a cycling-for-all ride, welcoming both men and women, not just licensed racers.
Riders can select either a 115 km route with approximately 1,510 meters of elevation gain or a 70 km route with about 650 meters of elevation gain. Both routes begin in Dornach, traverse the Basel-Landschaft region and adjacent cross-border villages, and conclude by returning through locations like Leymen, Biel-Benken, Therwil, Ettingen, Aesch, and Oepfelsee. The longer course extends further through Seewen, Reigoldswil, Büsserach, Lucelle, Ferrette, and Sondersdorf, with checkpoints located at Büsserach and Hippoltskirch. Registration is managed directly at the start, and the same venue offers the start, finish, changing facilities, showers, and parking.
