About this race

MidTown Tech Hive hosts a Saturday morning run-and-walk organized by DigitalC and Tarana Wireless. It functions more as a community effort with bibs than a polished race event. The objective is clear: a “citywide statement” on improving connectivity, aiming to close the digital divide. A straightforward local setup is planned: packet pickup at the Tech Hive, parking behind the building and next door, chip timing for runners, and untimed participation for walkers. Volunteers are still needed for the water stop. Awards will be presented after the finish, and a spaghetti dinner ticket for non-runners is available, contributing to a neighborly, fundraising atmosphere.
