Bieg Chwalisza

Bieg Chwalisza begins and ends at Przedszkole nr 1 in Ściernie, located at Kamienna 17 in Bieruń, Poland. This June charity run features a 6 km main race, a Nordic Walking option of approximately 5.5 km, and children’s races covering 100, 200, and 300 metres. Now in its eighth edition, the event directs entry fees toward the treatment of Antoni Synowiec. The course follows marked public, internal, and unpaved roads through sections of Bieruń and Lędziny. Security and checkpoints are positioned along the route. A past edition saw around 300 participants, indicating its nature as a community race rather than a large city marathon. The organizing group, “Chwalisz czy nie chwalisz - lotej z nami,” emphasizes willingness over speed, with pace, distance, and finish time being secondary to participation and support for the cause.
