Walk for Paws: 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Walk for Paws brings together adults, children, and dogs for a 5K Color Run on the Harrisburg Area Community College campus in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The event begins with the run in the morning, followed by a 1 Mile Walk. The event proceeds regardless of weather. The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area organizes this event, with funds raised benefiting homeless animals throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties. The 5K course remains on the HACC campus and is timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Trophies will be awarded to the top two finishers in both adult and youth age categories. The 1 Mile Walk is guided by Mallory Metzner of abc27, offering a relaxed option for families, casual walkers, and those with dogs. Participants will receive event shirts and can explore vendors, food trucks, adoptable dogs, a children's activity area, a pet costume competition, and a pre-registered Yoga with Puppies session.
