Grote Prijs Aalsmeer - Wind Surf Club Aalsmeer 2026

The Grote Prijs van Aalsmeer has been held on the Westeinderplassen in Aalsmeer since 1993. It is a competition for young and old, from beginner to advanced, and many windsurfers have participated. The event takes place every year on the first Sunday of October and includes a tombola, pizza, and a great atmosphere. The race is a long-distance event over two and a half hours plus one lap, with the final time in the last lap determining the ranking in case of equal laps. There are various classes including Windfoil, IQFoil, Windsurfer LT / Kona One, Raceboard up to 9.5m, Open windsurf up to 9.5m, Wing, and a shorter course for Rookies (surfers without competition experience).
