In Grodzisk Wielkopolski, the Hunters Grodziski Półmaraton “Słowaka” transforms a small Greater Poland town into a day dedicated to running each year. The primary event is a certified half marathon covering 21.097 km, with 5 km and 10 km races offered as well. An afternoon mini-half marathon for children, limited to 1,000 participants, is also held. The course winds through the town, featuring the Old Market Square and Town Hall, City Park, and Regional Museum as backdrops before concluding at the stadium. Originating from small school runs at Juliusz Słowacki High School, it has become one of Poland's most recognized half marathons.
