III Bieg Kolorowych Skarpetek

Bieg Kolorowych Skarpetek is a community running event in Trzebiatów, Poland, held at the Municipal Stadium near World Down Syndrome Day. The name translates to “Colorful Socks Run.” Runners are asked to wear sports clothes and colorful socks as a sign of support for people with trisomy 21. The event is organized by Primary School No. 1 in Trzebiatów and the local Social Welfare Center, with support from the Trzebiatów municipality and Gryfice county. It features short running competitions, not a long road course. The day also includes additional attractions, refreshments, and awards. The race aims to bring residents together, raise awareness of Down syndrome, and promote acceptance and integration.
