Media Maratón Gijón 2026

The Media Maratón Gijón “Villa de Jovellanos” begins at 17:30 on Avenida de Albert Einstein in Gijón, Asturias, taking place in October. It is a 21.097 km half marathon, with a distance homologated by the RFEA and a position on the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation’s national road-race calendar. The standard entry fee is €22, and the field is limited to 3,000 participants. The race is open to registered runners aged 18 and over, federated or not. FASATLE-licensed athletes also have a separate entry for the Asturias Half Marathon Championship, costing €11. The official time limit is 2 hours 30 minutes, with a 1 hour 15 minute cutoff at 10 km and another checkpoint at 1 hour 50 minutes. The Patronato Deportivo Municipal and A.D. Gijón Atletismo organize this, the 15th edition of the event.
