Adigemarathon is a two-day river marathon on the Adige in northern Italy, held in late October for canoes, kayaks, rafts, and stand up paddleboards. It is an international event, open to both hardened racers and amateurs. Competitive paddlers race across both days, while amateurs have their own Sunday routes on the calmer stretches of the river. The first day sends paddlers through Verona, with the city crossing as the main feature. On Sunday the finish is in Legnago, with separate starts matched to different craft and levels: competitive athletes paddle 33 km from Zevio, canoe amateurs and SUP racers cover 20 km from Albaredo d'Adige, and rafting crews start from Bonavigo or Roverchiara for 12 km. The two-day format also serves as a rehearsal for a planned Verona-to-Adriatic river challenge of 150 km. Off the water, canoeists and spectators gather at Verona's Accademia d'arte circense for awards honoring people from the canoeing world, followed by student performances in acrobatics, balance, and juggling.
