The 6th karuselløp takes place in Arendal and Grimstad as part of the Sparebanken Norge Terrengkarusellen, using Granestua as the local venue. This is a low-threshold trail race series suitable for running, jogging, or walking, individually or with others. The series comprises 16 races, divided between spring and autumn. Each race offers a flexible participation window, opening Tuesday at noon and closing Thursday evening. For those preferring a communal race atmosphere, a mass start is available on Tuesdays, with separate starts for the long and short courses.
Participants can select either a short or a long course, and may enter a single race or purchase a season pass, with or without timing. The series is designed for both competitive runners and individuals seeking a routine outdoor activity. The Arendal and Grimstad outdoor program also features Ti på topp, which involves using maps, route descriptions, and an app to log trips of varying lengths and difficulties. This same inclusive spirit guides Terrengkarusellen, emphasizing participation and encouraging more people to engage with local trails over mere results.
